It is our hope that everyone would embrace the Gospel, which is the good news of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is good news because in and through Jesus Christ we are justified in the sight of the true, holy, and just God. To be justified by God means that we are spared the wrath of God, and instead receive the righteousness of Jesus Christ. None of us can ever be saved by trying to be a good person or by doing any good deeds. The Bible says in Ephesians chapter 2, verses 8 and 9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." Salvation is wholly by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ - the Bible tells us in Acts chapter 4 that “...there is salvation in no one else...”
The Bible also says in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, verses 3 and 4 that "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
We can only be saved by confessing our sins and placing our faith in God’s Son, Jesus Christ, Who although being perfect and holy (without sin), died and paid for our sins on the cross. We must also surrender our life to His Lordship (giving Him complete control of every area of our life).
